Our Story
Eggsy began at home in Lipa, Batangas, during the height of the pandemic. With jobs uncertain and resources limited, we looked around the kitchen and asked ourselves what we could create with what we had. All that was available were a few puto ingredients and one large pan. From that small spark of hope, a new dream was born.
We started cooking puto not just to survive, but to share a bit of comfort during difficult times. What began as a simple home experiment quickly became something much bigger — a taste of kakanin and traditional Filipino treats that reminded people of warmth and togetherness.
Through consistency, passion, and faith, that small kitchen idea grew into one of the best business to franchise in the Philippines. Today, Eggsy has sold over 980,000 boxes of puto and counting, bringing smiles to families across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
